Questions people ask

Is the test really free?

Yes. The test and your result are free, and you do not need to give an email address. The personal plan is a paid product you can buy after you see your number.

Where does the advice come from?

From public guidance by Ready.gov and FEMA, the CDC, the American Red Cross, and the UK government's Be Ready campaign, NHS and Met Office. Every page of the plan lists its sources.

What is in the personal plan?

About 15 to 20 pages, one page per job: the first 10 minutes of a power cut for your type of home, your household's exact water, food, cash and medicine amounts, before, during and after the hazard where you live, pages for your kids, baby and pets, the go bag checklist, a family plan sheet for the fridge, and what to do tonight, this week and this month. Every page has a photo, one big number, three or four rules and boxes to fill in. You get a print version and a phone version.

How do I get it after paying?

Your plan is generated within a few minutes of payment. The download link is on your order confirmation page and in your order email. You can download it again any time with the same link.

Is this medical or official advice?

No. It is general preparedness information for households. Always follow local authorities and your doctor.
